Hanna TSYHANOK is a coordinator/ expert/ consultant/ researcher/teacher in the project.
Hanna TSYHANOK is a Candidate of Philological Sciences (PhD in Philology), Associate Professor at the Department of Foreign Languages, SNAU. Her teaching and research experience is 15 years. The dissertation study was devoted to the development of Ukrainian phonetic terminology of the 20th and early 21st centuries. She has had about 45 publications. A number of publications relate to the philological direction of Ukrainian phonetic terminology, intercultural communication in general, and the intercultural aspect of foreign language teaching in higher education institutions and are indexed in the international scientific-metric database Web of Science.
Hanna TSYHANOK has been teaching the subjects “Ukrainian as a foreign language” for international students of the preparatory department and students of the 1-4th courses of all faculties; “Profound foreign (English) language”, “Foreign (English) language (Selective component)”.
She has contributed essentially to developing and implementing the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project «The linguistic dimension of the notion “security” as the key component of the concept of a safe educational space: the European experience» №101094386 — EUSPACED — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH-UA-IBA / ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCHRSCH.
In 2022, she took part in international scientific and practical conferences on the project topic with the following reports: “A safe educational environment as a component of European values” (Learning and Teaching: during War and Peace: Conference Proceedings of I International Youth Scientific & Practical Conference, (Kharkiv, Ukraine, 10 November, 2022)); “Educational environment security: Axiological aspect” ((NAUKOWE Z ESZYTY tom 21, rocznik XI №1, Sucha Beskidzka, 2022)); “Ways of overcoming various types of threats to the information and educational space by international students” (All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference for the Day of Ukrainian writing and language, (Chernihiv, Ukraine, 18 November, 2022)).
During her teaching activities with both Ukrainian and international students, Hanna TSYGANOK ensures the implementation of project measures for the study of the fundamental component of European values – the concept of security in its diachronic and intercultural development, the expansion of modern interdisciplinary knowledge about this phenomenon and the understanding of the role played by security on development of cognitive abilities of Ukrainian and international students in particular and intercultural educational space in general.
Hanna TSYGANOK is involved in the coordination of micro-management work related to the project, the preparation of reporting documentation and the creation of content for informational support of the project. With Olga BERESTOK, she is responsible for maintaining the EUSPACED information channel in Telegram, the project web page on the SNAU official website, and the Facebook web page for disseminating information about the implementation of the tasks of each work stage of the project. With the help of social networks, it is possible to popularize the European experience in the context of a safe educational space and draw the public’s attention to the current problems of a safe educational environment. Mentioned activity forms an interest in studying the linguistic dimension of the concept of “safety” as a key component of the concept of a safe educational space.
Hanna TSYGANOK and the project team members participate in compiling syllabi and teaching-methodical resources for the disciplines envisaged by the EUSPACED project. She is actively involved in the development of the Ukrainian-language special course “Winter Academy for university teachers: implementation of a safe educational space for foreign citizens based on the example of EU countries” and the accredited course “Concept of a safe educational environment” for international students of profile faculties of SNAU.
Hanna TSYGANOK, together with the participants of the project group, is engaged in the preparation and organization of the All-Ukrainian sociolinguistic seminar “The concept of “security” in scientific and intercultural domestic (Ukrainian) and European discourses” for the unification and support of Ukrainian and foreign specialists in the formation of a professional network community for discussion current scientific problems, exchange of experience and scientific developments.
