COMPETITION OF SCIENTIFIC PAPERS ON WORLD SCIENCE DAY

We are pleased to summarize the results of the student research competition “Innovative solutions for the circular economy”, which was held at the Sumy National Agrarian University within the framework of the “Rethink waste week” project of the ERASMUS+ Jean Monnet Project “Production and dissemination of circular economy ideas in accordance with the EU Action Plan”

32 works from different regions of Ukraine were submitted for participation in the competition. By the decision of the jury, 6 works were selected, the defense of which took place online on November 10. By unanimous decision, the rating of the winners looks like this

First place – Anna Savelova (Kremenchuk National University named after Mykhailo Ostrogradskyi) with the work “PROSPECTS OF RE-USE OF METALLURGICAL WASTE IN THE ACTIVITIES OF INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES”. The prize is UAH 7,000.

Second place – Bohdan Ivashko (Lutsk National Technical University) with the work “Logistics solutions for the implementation of the circular economy model in the field of household waste management.” The prize is UAH 5,000.

Third place – Inna Bykova (Poltava Polytechnic National University named after Yury Kondratyuk) with the work “Cluster model of waste management for the Poltava region based on the European concept of “circular economy”. The prize is UAH 3,000.

In addition, the jury decided to give an additional prize place to one more work.

Additional prize place – Inna Tytarenko (Kremenchuk National University named after Mykhailo Ostrogradskyi) with the work “Alternative ways of using plastic waste”. The prize is UAH 2,000.
