On March 12-13, at the invitation of the IZOLYATSIA cultural initiatives platform, Natalia Yaroshenko, a participant in EU climate leadership courses and a graduate student at the Department of Ecology and Botany, held a two-day training entitled “Climate Change: Who Suffers the Most?” in the city of Soledar, Donetsk region.

During the event, participants analyzed in detail the theoretical and practical aspects of climate change in terms of gender ecology, as well as identified key green values that help build environmental awareness. For two days, the participants could learn about the basic concepts of gender ecology, green values, sustainable development goals, gradation of the impact of climate change on socially vulnerable groups. The training included not only the theoretical part: participants could join thematic debates and a simulation game on the levels of influence and responsibility of different segments of the population in climate change.
