On December 11, Kyiv hosted the International Workshop “European Integration: Prospects and Challenges for Ukraine”, co-organized by Sumy National Agrarian University under the Erasmus + Jean Monnet Chair program “EU Climate Leadership” (620031-EPP-1-2020-1 -UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR)
The purpose of this workshop is to describe the stages of founding the European Union, highlight the steps of European integration, consider the features of the EU and current trends in its formation, pay attention to environmental security of Ukraine and the European Union in the context of climate change. During the consideration of environmental issues, the coordinator of the Sumy NAU Olena Melnyk made a report on the implementation of the Erasmus + Jean Monnet Chair project “EU Climate Leadership“. She also moderated the session “Environmental Aspects of European Integration”, which was joined by students and teachers of SNAU.
