Dear friends,
We are pleased to invite you to participate in a transformative and informative training program titled “Diversity Representation: Overcoming Stereotypes” as a part of the EU Strategies Extrapolation for Boosting Students’ Media Literacy in Ukrainian HEIs project. Its main objective is to enhance participants’ media literacy skills as well as their critical thinking abilities regarding diverse representations in media.
Details of the training program are as follows:
Title: Diversity Representation: Overcoming Stereotypes
Duration: June 22, 2023 – June 30, 2023
Total Academic Hours: 40 (1.25 credits ECTS)
During this training, you will have the opportunity to:
- develop a deep understanding of media’s impact on societal perceptions and stereotypes;
- analyze and challenge stereotypes that are commonly portrayed in various media forms;
- discover strategies that will enable you to promote accurate and inclusive representations of diverse communities;
- enhance your critical thinking abilities and media literacy skills through interactive workshops and discussions;
- engage in collaborative activities with other students interested in media literacy and social change.
By participating in this program, you will increase your knowledge and contribute to the ongoing efforts to combat stereotypes and promote media literacy and EU values in Ukrainian society.
