Liudmyla BAIDAK is an assistant professor of the department of foreign languages at Sumy National Agrarian University. Her teaching and research experience is 32 years. She participates in the methodical support of the educational process, has about 30 study and methodical aids, 35 scientific articles and publications. The direction of scientific research is modern trends in teaching a foreign language in non-linguistic institution of higher education.
Liudmyla BAIDAK teaches such disciplines as "Profesionally-oriented English", "Profound English", "English (Selective component)"; "Business English".
She makes an important contribution to the thorough development of the EUSPACED project life cycle, covering all project activities from the initial phase to project implementation.
Realizing the importance and relevance of implementing the concept of creating a safe educational environment, especially in the conditions of military aggression in which Ukraine is now, Liudmyla BAIDAK, in her work with students, tries to create a favourable psychological climate that supports a developing personality, responds to their needs in time and respects their peculiarities.
Mastering the practical tools for implementing the concept of a safe educational environment involves a deep study, research and awareness of both the very concept of "security" and the implementation in Ukraine of the European experience in creating a safe educational environment. Liudmyla BAIDAK as a member of the project team conducts such research and participates in the preparation of publications in scientific journals.
Liudmyla BAIDAK has many years of experience in developing foreign language curricula, creating teaching and methodological aids, which allows her to participate in the development and implementation of the special course for teachers of the Institutions of Higher Education in Ukraine" Winter Academy for University Teachers: Implementation of Safe Educational Space for International Citizens on the Example of the EU Countries " and the accredited course "The concept of safe educational environment" for foreign students of the main faculties of SNAU.
Liudmyla BAIDAK, together with Hanna TSYHANOK and Olha BERESTOK, participates in the preparation of the all-Ukrainian sociolinguistic seminar "The notion of "security" in scientific and intercultural domestic and European discourses", the purpose of which is to form a professional network community to discuss topical problems of organizing a safe educational environment, exchange experiences and scientific developments.
