Olena Melnyk gave a lecture for Zero Waste Academy students on “Food waste as a catalyst for climate change”. The following issues were revealed during the lecture:
– European ways to solve the problem of food waste management and climate change mitigation;
– biomimicry solutions in agroproduction.
In order to consolidate the acquired knowledge, students were given the task to calculate their own carbon footprint in everyday life.
