Dear students, friends and colleagues! We are happy to inform you that the course “Concept of Safe Educational Environment” has been successfully launched!
Course Objective: The course “Concept of Safe Educational Environment” is aimed at foreign students’ understanding of the concept of “safe educational environment” as a basic European value and the implementation of acquired knowledge and ability to achieve high results in education and further activities.
Course Participants: The course is delivered for the international students who study on two faculties of SNAU, namely: Veterinary Medicine and Economics.
Course Instructors: this course is elaborated by the skilled and experienced researchers of the project: Tetiana Klochkova, PhD; Hanna TSYHANOK, PhD; Liudmyla BAIDAK, AP; OLHA BERESTOK, AP.
Course Duration: This course is developed to last for 60 hours of training (30 hours – 1st term, 30 hours – 2nd term)
Course Content: The course includes both theoretical and practical training that cover basic topics concerning the concept of “safe educational environment” as a basic European value. The students of the course will learn the essence of the basic concepts of “safety”, “security”, “safe educational environment”; methods of creating the terminological field of the concepts of “safety”, “security” and “safe educational environment”; the main approaches to achieving European standards in the education of modern Ukraine; sociolinguistic aspect of the concepts; the issue of psychological safety of the educational environment of the 21st century; principles of EU policy in the context of the concept of “security” as one of the basic European values.
This course is introduced into the educational process as an optional discipline for foreign students of specialized faculties of SNAU.
