Online security in the information society is becoming more and more important. Uncontrolled information flows become not only a source of knowledge, but also a strategic resource and a tool for implementing manipulative actions and maneuvers. In this regard, issues of providing and supporting information security as an integral component of a safe educational environment are being updated today. These questions were raised by the project team during the plenary session of the 5th International Conference “Digital Economy and Digital Society”, which took place on April 19-20, 2023.
